Took our van for a full re spray – we always go to Mazda bongo auto centre for any work, if I could give more than 5* I would! The communication with Andy is brilliant, he keeps you posted every step of the way! Our van looks the bees knees now, he even fitted new tyres – nothing is ever to much for the team here, I would recommend 100% to anyone, they really know there stuff when it comes to bongos! Such amazing heroes, camping in the Wirral 5 hours from home and the AFT roof stuck in open position. Tried everything to get it down but it would not shift. Our recovery service deemed it not important and did not arrive to help but one call to these fine people the next morning and within 1 hour they were there. And with there magic touch the roof was down in minutes. Identified a couple of dodgy roof motors. They were helpful, reassuring and there within an hour (considering it was a call-out first thing in the morning). Really don’t know what I would have done without them. Thank you so much.

I cannot put into words how well looked after I have been. Bought a bongo private sale with 12months mot, took it for a service at another garage and they refused to do it due to the state of it and deemed it dangerous and unroadworthy! Consequently took it back to the original mot centre who agreed to do the work to get it to a pass standard. I then drove 300 miles to a job (where im living in the van ) but luckily decided to book it in at MBAC for a free inspection. Unbelievably the work had not been been carried out as expected, (still unroadworthy) and MBAC were incredibly thorough taking photos and videos , phoned the seller, phoned the mot centre and have given me the support and peace of mind, way above and beyond all expectations, that somehow I will get a full refund. Cannot rate MBAC enough for what they've done so far….I'm now sat comfy and warm after buying one of their lovely bongos, able to concentrate on my job, knowing im not on my own in all this. Took my Bongo here first a bottom half respray in British Leyland Inca yellow and new rear arches plus repairs to a cross member and sill on one side, also had a diesel heater fitted , great finish good communication very happy

Here is our newly acquired Bongo from the Andy at the Mazda Bongo Auto Centre near Chester. We are absolutely delighted with her. It is a 2.5 V6 with AFT which we have named Betty Boop in honour of my sister Cathy's nickname as a child. Sadly, she passed away recently after a battle with cancer. Andy worked closely with us to design the interior and exterior schemes. He was very open to enabling this bespoke level of choice of materials. As an example, the solid oak work surface was shaped and finished with danish oil. She is packed full of conveniences and gadgets. Too many to mention them all but special shout out for the amazing full width rock and roll bed which is very comfortable and slides under the slimline pod. Nothing was too much fuss or trouble for Andy and his team. He and they have such a passion to make sure the build was exactly how we wanted it. We had a couple of very minor snags, as expected with such a major van build, that Andy sorted very speedily. His after sale support is brilliant! We've just had a fantastic road trip to Scotland for a week and Betty performed superbly! Such a joy to drive and so smooth and quiet. Please view the photos. Andy and his team have been very informative and supportive throughout the project. The whole experience was very pleasant. He is a gentleman, very friendly and very professional. To such an extant that I have made a friend for life. I would recommend anyone who is considering acquiring a Bongo camper to look no further than Andy at the Mazda Bongo Auto Centre.

Had Silver restoration on my Bongo which I have owned as a fresh import for nearly 7 years Done in original colour , everyone says Bongo looks brand new ! Tip Bongo underseal needs inspecting every year to touch up if needed . Andy spotted significant rust to chassis which has been repaired to a high standard Rear wheel arches restored too ! You will get a good honest realistic appraisal of work needed A worthwhile investment if you are keeping the van long term . I am a happy Bongonaut !

Just wanted to say a big ‘Thank you!’ to Andy and his team. Excellent help, advice and after-sales service when purchasing my new (to me) refurbished Bongo. The quality of the workmanship is first rate and the van drives really well. The trip from Oxford to Chester was well worth it and for all things Bongo you could not do better than contact Andy. 👏👏👏

What to say about Mazda Bongo Auto Center? Andy and his team have been superb from beginning to end. We had head gasket issues, nobody local wanted to even look at it, but MBAC collected our van from Gillingham, 195 miles away, replaced everything that was broken and now it runs better than it ever has! We'd had rust advisories on the last MOT, especially around the wheel trims, so asked if that could be done at the same time. Again, no problem, ALL the rust issues were addressed, add an underseal and a full respray and it looks like new! We even added new, brighter lights, so we can even see where we're going better and tarted up the cabin armrests, with new material. And then delivered it right back to our front door. I only wish my budget could've carried on and on! Andy has been in touch since, checking up on how it's going. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better service, the only weird part, I never met Andy or ANY of his team, everything has been done via email, phone and WhatsApp. Thanks to Andy and MBAC, we're back in love with our Bongo again!! What a company, absolutely fantastic service we travelled from Wigan this morning Andy found the fault immediately he knows these vans inside out, he explained /fixed/ and on our way …and after 4 days of being messed about by other company's he resolved and I may say not ripped off cost wise. I’m extremely happy with our Mazda Bongo, thanks to Andy and his team. From our initial conversation, I felt confident that they could deliver exactly what I was looking for. When I first received the van, I had a few concerns. However, after a conversation with Andy, nothing was too much trouble, and all the issues were promptly resolved with a follow-up visit. Since taking delivery, we’ve enjoyed numerous weekend getaways as well as a 10-day trip, all without any issues. The van runs beautifully, and the paint job is flawless—it truly doesn’t show its age! I would highly recommend their services, and I’ll definitely be returning for future servicing and MOTs.

I took my Bongo to Andy he did a free inspection and found lots of work had been bodged underneath my previous owner told me how it is and what needed to be done to get the Bongo looking road worthy and safe. Ended up going for a restoration package and now my Bongo looks unique and has a new lease of life. I will be returning for any future work and for yearly service. Great work guys.

Andy and the team have done a really good job of looking after our recently purchased van, including fitting us in for a major service at short notice and preparation of the vehicle for its first long trip. Andy and Dave respond to messages quickly and nothing is too much trouble. We had a few questions about routine maintenance and they were happy to help. I'd thoroughly recommend this place for Mazda Bongo vehicle servicing, repairs and restoration. In the coming months we will be booking in to have our van under sealed and for a Bronze restoration package. I have absolute faith that the work will be done to the highest standards.

Charlie here with V6 petrol bongo and terminal gearbox. Flip I was impressed, I had a quote for gear box rebuild locally but it was madness (write off) so I spoke to Andy in Chester/Saltney as he’s more likely than anyone to have a 2nd hand one. He gave me the confidence that a 600 miles trip with no reverse was worth it. Result was just brilliant, fixed the gearbox (so no costly gearbox purchase) and he went through all my bongo issues, 2 were MOT fails and just sorted them. Super good team he has there and well worth going there to fix and I think he supplies new ones. Honest and good value, I’d definitely take my bongo back for a major issue (it’s a flippy long way for me)! Easily 5 stars

From the beginning looking for a Mazda Bongo to the actual purchase, Andy from Mazda Bongo Auto centre couldn't be any more helpful. We have a beautiful Bongo, designed to our requirements, painted and finished in gorgeous colours. Interior has been fitted out including all seats being reupholstered.etc to a perfect finish. I bought my first Bongo from here a little nervously as they are all vans 'in their prime!' However I couldn't be happier with my experience. Nothing was too much trouble and every detail was looked at to ensure I drove away in a vehicle that will give me many months of trouble-free motoring. My van looks super smart and I feel the bees knees driving around in her soaking up the admiring glances. She looks way better than vehicles half her age! I am thrilled and would have no hesitation in recommending Andy and his team 🙂

Took our old van in with an intermittent fault causing the engine to stall and die. They've patiently worked through at least half a dozen possibilities – as keen to get it fixed as we were & so far following our last visit it's running really well. In the meantime they have done an amazing job replacing an inner and outer rear wing and respraying it. Many thanks.
